Has anyone built this plane and flew it with laminated parts? I have noticed that a couple people have mentioned it in this thread but I have not actually noticed anyone talking about laminating their plane. I feel like the laminate would combat the flexibility issues with this plane.

I started building mine and I started building it like an epp combat wing. Using techniques I have used to build a few crash test hobby planes. I feel the plane will be much more rigid and have a lot better flight characteristics. However it does seem a number of people have mixed thoughts on the flight characteristics. I feel this may be mostly quality control issues with manufacturing of the planes.

Regardless I am still stumped on what the best power system is for this plane. I am considering running 3536 1400kv as a number of people are cruising at 8-10 amps. I would like to get 30-35 minutes of flight time and with a 5000mah 3s, I feel like an 8-10 amp cruise speed would get me there. Does anyone have any recommendations on a power system.

I've just joined the EPP-FPV club and finished my maiden this morning. I was given the aircraft and it comes with a NTM3536, 1400kv motor and a 10x6 prop. Did the maiden on 4s 4000mAh Lipo and it was waaaaay too much power, I almost could not throttle back far enough. Gee this thing flies slow, but, that's what I want it to do. I'll be out with the Watt Meter and a selection of props this afternoon and looking at a second flight tomorrow. I have to say, it flew quite well, but the leading edge of the wing popping up before launch was a trap for new players.

And now ... the FPV maiden

To be honest I think the 4000mAh 3S 20C Lipo's will be enough, more power doesn't look like it's going to be worth while, at this stage.

You're welcome! Now a flight from early this morning, a pity about the high cloud in the east, but compared to the Mobius on first the RC2 did ok. Not sure I would like either as a flight camera in these conditions.

Another hot day, another early start, sadly it was quite windless, so I ended up abandoning flying for the morning due to the curse of sweaty eyeballs, still a better run for the camera today without the cirrus cloud that was around the other day.

Nice series of videos Heppy Ket, you've inspired me to get my ar$e into gear and finally build my epp-FpV that's been sat in its box in my workshop for two years!
