Not necessary for temperatures we fly in right now. We just use motor intermittently

Hi , The hottest temps during the summer here in England do not get much over 80 F.H.. I live a few hundred feet above sea level and its always a little cooler than anywhere else. At the moment we have temps below freezing . But what about summer? would there be a need to be thinking about cooling then?. Thanks for all your replys.

I don't know yet. Will have to check temperature of components once it gets warmer again

I think it will depend on how long you run moter and time between runs. Remember, when you add cooling intake, you will need to make an opening for hot air to exit. I wonder if the EsChas a thermal cutoff?

I flew the ASK 21 at the slope today ... light 7 - MPH winds and some thermals. Performed just OK, Needs a little more wind, but still had a great time.

That sounds like a great idea .... I'll work on it. No work tomorrow, but had other plans. Also, it's supposed to rain. We'll see, If not tomorrow, then not for a couple weeks.

I flew the 21 at our flat land field today, 49F/9C. Even great thermals. Life is good :-)
