Only the ends of 2.4GHz antennas are active - the rest can be considered as extension cable.

Yes, you are right, I was mistaken (must have new lenses in my glasses?).

Blimp,
please contact the customer support on this issue.
In Germany someone had a similar issue, and got a special software from Graupner to revive his disfunctional TX.
Furthermore, one needs to assign full access rights to the folder c:\programms\graupner in Win7.
ICQ and similar programs should be turned off during the update process.

Hello,

does anyone analyze log data after-fly using the file created on the micro SD card?
I did some previous search but found nothing on this topic.

So I did some reverse engineering to decode those binary files and convert them in csv file easy to use with excel. The conversion is still not complete but gives me rather good info...

is someone interested in?

You can run the recorded data in the Graupner radio studio:

HoTT GPS Module Telemetry - Graupner Radio Studio (2 min 34 sec)

It is most likely a Win 7 issue:

Are there any limitations on the logs data file lenght, or just limited by the size of the mem card?

Hello Jurgen,

as I wrote in a french forum, Graupner radio studio is interesting but is limited in some ways. For example, it is very difficult to display any tendency over time (such as for example temperature, altogether with propulsion current and tension over time). In fact graupner radio studio offers no export of files to an excel compatible format... Excel (or any other spreadsheet software) is the proper tool for displaying such picture. This export could be a graupner radio studio function, but it is not currently.

That's why I decoded the log file (not still complete as I currently have no telemetry mesures except those provided by the receiver itself (as well data provided by the transmitter itself))

If someone is interested I can provide this early version (in fact it is a perl script)...

From my side, I am interested in getting some log files generated by others users of MX-16 / MX-12 (with/without extra sensors) to validate / extend my software...

As an example, attached a graph displaying 5 command channels overtime during a flight...

Hi,

this should be the link:

http://www.graupner.de/mediaroot/fil...20Software.zip

BUT: Your module might have a newer firmware! Mine has.
In that case, the updater will display a warning you should read.

Cheers, Ralf

mc-24 goes HoTT

The HoTT-ROM #4825.660 and the telemetry #33304 wire must be installed in the service department to get the internal telemetry.

Until that's done, you need a smartbox.

My God I had a suspicion! I had written to Graupner in Germany asking the same question and they say me that updating the firmware of the module I could read the data on the display. Too bad the release date of the upgrade will not be certain. Thank you all for the help. Nicola
