You got it, not a normal sized o ring. I tried the bearing shop for them when I first got the VMX and nothing in the correct size. They've got you there Rellik. You have to buy the genuine ones by the looks of it.

that's rediculous! Things like this make me want to just leave my bick sit and forget about it. Maybe some of the reason ppl aren't jumping on Rc bikes like they would be it the parts where fairly priced and not so limited. Just Dissapointing.

I agree, why not use a size that's available easily? I figured I'd stock up on those sorts of things when I found out as if you do run out the bike is pretty useless. When they are back in stock get a few packets so you have some spare.

We had freezing rain and then snow this morning. I have a short video of me running my VMX 450 in the mix.

Now I like this bike I just started to detail it and found the rear axle had one thread snapped off so I have now made one from silver steel threaded it m5 instead of reducing to m4 and found some bearings on the drive train lumpy and one on the layshaft has seized so I have just raided my old superbike parts and nicked the rubber sealed bearings from some wheels.

Just watched ya vid and it sounds like you are trying to drive it like a car and holding the steering over the steering leans the bike if you hold it over you just force the scratch bars down and the turn gets bigger with what you were getting the bike to do I would not expect them to touch down .

Thanks for the tips bro...

Had driven the bike less than five times with and without the e-gyro... still learning... need to improve my lousy driving skills....

The e-gyro definitely helps to cut down my learning curve...

That Vinnie VMX gets around, here is on the starting grid for the Mini Challenge at the 2012 1/5 scale Australian Championships.

He finished in 8th, but brought home the concourse trophy.

A VMX for sale on ebay, with Chris N's tweaked forks.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1709958527...84.m1423.l2649

Sadly it's LPU only. Lets hope it finds a good home.
