No problem, that's what this sport should be! Helping each other. This bike has me so excited to run the next pack!! I have traxxas slash 4x4 brushless (love it) xtm nitro truggy (love it) and rc helicopters (love them) but when it comes to the vmx, I am in love!!! Never thought a two wheel drive rc bike would come out and handle as well as the 450

A+ Venom!! You guys hit a grand slam

Here is my charger! Thanks Robs R/C Hobbies they turned me on to this charger and it was the best decision I could have made.

I was using the stock chargers that came with the helis but I think they were crap! According to my meter and this charger they were under charged and was being drained cause of it.

So, as for these bigger lipos I think I'm ready! If I use a "fire bag" should the charger also be inside or just the pack?

Thanks guys!

James

Just the pack Butters!

Make the leads to the battery pack long and keep the power supply and charger away from the LiPo sack. When you want to balance charge a pack you will have them closer together because of the lead length on the balance board.
The idea here is to make it easy to disconnect the pack and power supply in case of an emergency.

i noticed that my front shocks seem to be sticking. but only if i allow the bike to sit for a period of time, then i put it and free the shocks up and they work with no problem, any ideas?

That's normal, the o-rings get dry from sitting. They squeeze away the oil from the surface of the fork shaft. Cycle them again and all is fine.

My bike is like that its a first version and they are a bit sticky when they sit.
The weather is getting better here so I am hoping to get it out soon and run a few batteries through it.
I too am looking forward to it

ok thats good to know, and it sense. I cant wait till after the weekend the clocks get pushed up and it dose not get dark at 5;00, so i will have some more wiggle room to run . between this and my slash i dont think i am going back to nitro, electric is so much more fun b.c its not a big hassle between nitro fuel, (after every gallon i can basically buy a new battery) glow pugs, tuning the motors all the time, i am much happier throwing a battery pack in and off i go.

i was wondering how the vmx dose with the super moto tires in the street? i was thinking about getting a set to try it out.
