Multiplex Cargo Plane, How is it? info. needed.
HI all. I wanted to know if anyone has the Multiplex Cargo Plane with the 4-400`s and how you like it?
Whats good and whats bad about this plane+ kit?? Any tips on building or flying it? And hows the power of it(speed)?? THANKS! |

g'day speedo
i have been trying to find some info about this aircraft to, but its been pretty quiet. i'm doing some reserch into aerial video/live links and the cargo looks as if its pretty well suited. i will try and find a review on it online. if i do find one i'll post the url. |

Speedo what motor did you get for your T33? Also the wind hasn't been cundusive to flying the last few days.

Go see the thread in "Foamies" on the Cargo, under "Multiplex B-17". It is a great flyer with the 400's stock. My son flew his for 12+ minutes at half throttle on an 8 cell 2000maH. It will ROG in 25 ft and do loops and rolls. Easy to land and control on the ground. He used a Castle Creations Pegasus control with the motors in parallel as recommended.
If you have trouble finding one for sale, try Stefan at Hollein in Germany. I bought 2 for approx. $145 ea, including shipping. Got it in 10 days. |

My flying buddy, Paul Siegal, has TWO of them! His are done up like B-17s and look quite realistic in the air. They are powered with the stock motors, but Paul used Mini-Olympus gearboxes and three blade props (8x6?) for a more scale effect.
I have not flown them, but Paul says they have a better roll rate than a Twinstar, and will ROG from smooth surfaces with a lot of right rudder to counteract prop torque.
