Build Log

Babyshark ARF - High Performance Depron Foamie

*** Update 12-24-2010** Unfortunately we will no longer be offering ARF kits. Only Standard kits (completely un-built Depron kits) will be available until further notice.

We decided to go ahead and assemble the Babyshark Standard kits into ARF's kits as well.

And since we do not have a separate assembly instruction for the ARF version I will be doing this build log to serve as the assembly instructions for the time being.

***All ARF kits (Nanoshark or Babyshark) will now include the colored tape pre-applied in random color schemes. If you send me an e-mail when ordering I can let you know what choices of color schemes are available for immediate shipping. Otherwise special requests may take extra time.

The top cover and the main wing.

On the last photo here. You should spray accelerator after the wing is fully touching the fuselage sides. As the photo description mentions, UFO brand foam safe CA will hold initially after a few moments of holding it in position. Once it is sticking then you can spray the accelerator to lock it in.

Final taping, Battery, and CG.

For the decal sheet you can download it from here:
Print it on 2" x 4" Clear mailing labels from an office supply store.
Staples brand or Avery brand work great.

Whew! it's done!

Despite the many pictures this is actually a pretty easy to build ARF kit.

I welcome any questions, comments or suggestions please.

215 MPH!? I suppose we can achieve that speed flying into a tornado.. lol.

My best guess on the actual speed for this would be anywhere from 80 mph to 90 mph.

I suppose I should get some good "dopplerable" video.
Making my own words up here.. hehe.
