If you can build it at such a frequency, then yes it will work fine. The question is, can you actually and accurately build it that small?

Well for 5840mhz 1/4 wave is 1.2cm and distance from reflector is 6mm.

That'll work, make sure your bends are tight. Nice thin guage wire. Dont use standoff's. Or just use a piece of pcb board and etch it.

Alex, I have been reading this thread lately,

https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1702036

I am thinking I want to build my own biquad for my Frysky tx module. Does the reverse polarity change the construction at all? Do I still connect the coax to the reflector and the cntr conductor to the element?

Thanx in advance for your help.

The corners in that antenna aren't sharp. Does this matter? I'm thinking it does...

How would it work with a circularly polarized cloverleaf Tx antenna? I have a matching Rx antenna I was going to use for close-in on a diversity system. Seems the "V" would be easier to mount for sure at 910mhz.

I actually have one of those. Not perfect, but certainly awesome. And for that price, it's a heck of a deal!
