I am not saying that is a bad price, I was just wandering if there is anywhere that has them cheaper.
Pretty much the same everywhere...

This little plane is FUN....I flew it this morning with NO SFG's......

SMOOTH slow rollers and high speed rolls, KE is Very good....inverted harrier is solid. Very nice snaps and it surprised me with it's precision....tracks very well.... Even in the gusty wind this morning. I guessed on batt placement but it must've been right...VERY little pitch in KE one way....none the other. A LITTLE roll in KE for me on this CG.....not much, but rolled opposite what most of my other planes...I put a 0%-0%-1%-1%-2% curve mix on the ailerons and it was straight....VERY good KE performance....surprising to me since it has the low turtledeck.

I'm going to have a LOT of fun with this plane. I really like the looks.

Next I'll try the sfg's and I bet the upright harrier will smooth right out.

I will have to look at there site, It is coming time for me to bite the bullet and spent close to $100 in propellers with shipping prices I try and get all the propellers I will need for a flying season in one order. I would hate to see how much giant scale plane propellers cost. What is the extra covering for, that is included in the box? Is it in case repairs are needed. I do not see it mentioned in the instructions.

Thanks,

Thanks for posting your flight summary. Glad to hear it went so well.

For folks who have flown both the 46 Yak and the 48 Edge, what are some of the things that one does better than the other? I am hoping to get one of them this Black Friday.

What are your goals for the plane?
If it's for primarily 3d flight, how would you rank your skill level?
Then yak will take a bit more skill to 3d with. Edge's are on the other side, extremely easy to 3d with. Smooth harriers especially, which is an area the Yak is worse in. At least upright harrier.

The edge tumbles better. I had a hard time getting the Yak to knife edge spin and it didn't tumble well for me. It is awesome at elevators though, and the Edge doesn't do as well at them (at least on the 48" size).

However if you primarily do more sport flying and precision flying you might prefer the Yak. It's pretty to look at, has carbon fiber gear, and that big awesome round cowl. The edge is more durably built if you aren't so good at landings...

help any?

Thanks Ryan for the comment. I am comfortable with the 59 Slick flying both 3D (not at the deck yet) and IMAC basic & sportsman. I am looking for a smaller all round plane that I can fly with when the sky is more crowded. Yep, I know the 42 Slick would be a great candidate but since I already have the 59, I thought I would look for something different.
