So would I.

I'd also like a much larger one.

But, ultimately, it's what AJ wants...

All I have to say is I am friggin glad I got to the field before 8:15 friday night. Too bad for AJ/Ben, had to give me an excuse not to get another plane this weekend (maby I will give in and get an AJ design before the new year). Cant wait to preorder this one.

What price range is this gonna go for ball park high to low? How much is an addicts discount for this plane.. there doesnt seem to be any info on the site about these discounts or codes? Really surprised to see a yak of any variant come from 3d hobby shop considering what ive read on here in the past on future designs and certain airframes flooding the market. The plane looks nice, the yak 55 is being modeled by quite a few manufacturers but i guess future airframe design for models will repeat itself without redbull pushing fullscale designers for new airframes now.

from what ben has said really not much has been completely finalized except for equipment and size, no pricing or ETA available, completely up to AJ.

as far as the market being flooded, i believe they were talking about the yak 54. the 55 has not been done by a whole lot, although it has been picking up a lot of steam over the past year

I was in Utah filming AJ Vol 3 a few weeks ago. AJ picked me up at the airport and when we got to his house there was a box waiting from the UPS man. It was the Yak 55. He took a quick peek, and then we buckled down to the task at hand - the Osiris. He built the Osiris between that night (3 hours on Friday) and another hour on Saturday morning. Then we filmed all afternoon on Saturday on the salt flats. At sunset we came home and ate dinner. After dinner. I started reviewing photos and films, nodding off on the couch, worn out from a day of building, filming and flying in the sun. AJ disappeared into the garage and when I wandered in a few hours later the Yak 55 was built. So in about 7 hours of a 24 hour period, AJ built the Osiris and the Yak 55. Dang. The guy likes to build. Sometimes it takes me about that long just to decide to START building. The next day he flew the little Yak once and I got some stills. I held back the photos pending the official unveiling. Now that the cat's out of the bag, here's a few of the pics I shot that day.
