I have an older x650 V4 with Superx and it wont hold hover after launch. Its all stock other than gimbal with gopro. im using 3s 2200 mah 25c batt. I tried with 2 batteries and got same results. Any thoughts on this issue?

Something is wrong with your M1 probably. Or it' s ESC. Also your manual gain adjustment is very low.

Im trying to find the best motor & prop set up for my new X650 pro
My set up is:

Camera type GoPro 4Black 88g
Gimbal Xaircraft stella 120g
Boscam 5.8GHz 600mW Tx 22g
Frsky's X8R 16.8g
SuperX fc and osd
Xaircraft 30a esc
Frskys lipo sensor 18g
Im still in air about a battery
4s
8000mAH at 845g
6600mAH at 700g
6200mAH at 589g

The motors im thinking would give me good flight time would be a
T Motor MN3508 KV700 with 12x4.7 slowfly prop

advice or suggestions anyone?

Hi guys,

Been away a long time but just browsed through a few dozen pages and wondered;

I bought the X650 V8 with the gps, ahrs and all that junk, which never really worked Threw it in the cupboard, and pretty much wrote it off as a bad investment.

So now i'm entertaining the thought of possibly getting the SuperX or MiniX stuff so I can actually get it flying.

Any recommendations?
(Assume i'll have to dump the ESCs, Motors and Props as well).

No firmware in the 1.8 XAircraft Center.

Will keep looking - have a download for an older 1.1 and 1.7 version.

Hey all! i am pretty new to rc forums but allready experienced with rc planes helis and recently with multicopters (fy680 and now t810)
I have a questoin regarding the osd v2 connections...

Where should i connect the av in GND cable?

Are you using 3 batts? 1 for flight, 2 for vtx and cam...?
Ground loops... Not picking right 1, I use 2 batts, vtx, cam, osd, ( well, osd has second ground...voltage moniter) are together on 1 small batt, flight is on a big batt, of filters was not working with the esc's and motor combo I was running

Yes, i aint got the stella gimbal and mine doesnt count with the possibility of connecting camera to it. Therefore i use a separate battery for FPV Vtx And camera connected in parallel.
Does the current shown on the osd is measured from the battery its AVin GND cable is connected to? Or from the one connected to Superx (flight battery) ??

I don't have the superX, Xaircraft 650 with both v1 and v2 ahrs gps is ceiling queen until....
I have been watching superX for a while, I think I would rather find one on eBay or RCG classifieds before giving xair more money, that said....

Osd gets batt voltage from fc thru IO to osd, along with the flight info. If you power vtx and camera from Flight bat, a power filter should smooth out most interference from flight bat and ecs/motor noise.
Cons: flight batt noise, more weight less flight times
Pros : less weight, better flight times,
