E-flite Habu 32 DF ARF

E-flite Habu 32 DF ARF

E-flite takes ARF ducted fan performance and engineering to new heights
with the Habu 32 DF. Designed around the E-flite Delta-V® 32 80mm fan
unit and 2150Kv DF32 brushless motor, its hyper-efficient intake and exhaust
ducting allows this potent combo to produce large amounts of thrust when
powered with a high-C 6S Li-Po pack. And it does so without resorting to
drag-inducing cheater holes. The result is a sport EDF with exhilarating speed
that will give even experienced jet jockeys goose bumps.

As the first Platinum Series E-flite® ducted fan, the Habu 32 DF also boasts
a level of fit and finish that is every bit as impressive as its performance.
Its sleek fiberglass fuselage comes pre-painted and integrates the vertical
stabilizer. The fully-sheeted wings and horizontal stabilizers are reinforced
with carbon blade spars and covered with genuine UltraCote®. The control
surfaces are hinged for you. Just add the optional E-flite electric retracts (sold
separately), and you’ve got a sport jet that truly stands out from the crowd.

Designed for a direct bolt-in fit for the E-flite Delta-V 32 power system
Wings and Stabilizers are removable using carbon blade spars and aluminum sockets for easy transport
Painted fiberglass fuselage and a vertical fin with high quality UltraCote covered wings and stabilizer
Designed to fit the E-flite 15-25 sized electric retracts

Just seen this bird on heliplane

There must be 10 of the smaller Habu's at my club, sometimes up to 5 in the air at once!

Sweet fly plug and play model it is, i guess the new one will be sweet also, parkzone/e-flite don't seem to get much wrong. I've been flying futaba since the beginning but got a spectrum radio also this year to take advantage of their sweet range of bnf models, mainly the micro helis and planes.

I loved my Foamie Habu!

This one looks even better and better!

I am sold to the razor sharp design and retracts and this black/Red design!

AMAZING COLORS! I love this red/black mix.

However what I am surprised is that a 80mm Fan needs a 5000mah 6s battery to fly for 4.5 minutes, when an ARC 3675/Wemotec 90mm Combo needs already 5000mah for 4.5 minutes flight time.

I did not like the high pitched sound of the foamie habu edf unit at all....After time it really got on my nerves and I just sold the plane.

However I will be using my own 80mm Power System...Sad they did not use the more commonly used 90mm for this size of the aircraft, would have been a lot easier to exchange the power unit.

Now I am looking into a powerful 80mm EDF Unit Set.
