I don't want to rebuy the Spitfire as I want to try something different. How would you compare the flying characters of both planes?
I know you can get the airframe only kit for the P47, but I dont think you can buy the airframe only for the f4u-1a, at least not that I've found. You would have to piece everything out for it, which you may as well buy the pnp at that point.

Plane attacked by bird....
Thanks for the feedback. Didn't realize that they didn't sell it as a kit.

Yes, you're right - and you can't get the Trojan as a replacement airframe either .... I don't know why they do that.

No clue either. I would LOVE to have a both the T28 and F4U-1A as a airframe only.

so, with an airframe, like this (http://parkzone.com/Products/Default...ProdID=PKZ5770), do you get pushrods, etc.? everything except the esc and motor compared to the pnp? what else relative to the pnp is lacking?

From what I've heard the PNP kits are pretty much all inclusive. pushrods, decals, everything...

Yes, pushrods are included with PZ airframes. Almost all hardware is included but some of them DO NOT COME WITH A MOTOR MOUNT. Almost all my PZ planes I have were airframes (P47, Spitfire, F4F, BF109, and P51). All you need to do is add electronics (servos, servo extensions, servo y-harness, prop/motor combo, ESC, and receiver). You might need to drill larger holes into your servo arms and add tape and velcro in spots but it's pretty straight forward. Dirt cheap as well!

I'm 99% certain that the P-47 comes with the motor mount... I crashed my original PNP and saved everything that wasn't foam... And ended finding almost everything is included in the airframe kit!

Just looked at the picture on Horizon's website. It includes everything from the push rods to the motor mount. Has all the foam pieces and hardware. The good news is I can get a brand new plane for 95 dollars. I wish they would have the air frame for the new F4u-a1. I've had my eye on that since it came out.

I'm jealous. Our weather for the foreseeable future is windy, windy, and even windier.
