Ya, one of the great things about the P47 is how roomy it is inside and it's a nice bird to fly to boot! My first bird with rectracts and I still like to fly it...ok I like to fly most of my birds!

i stick with planes under about 48 inches wing so they fitsnug in my van with all my work gear still in there place. t-28 and now p-47 should snuggle in there nicely!

well....... holding my breath that the weather holds as of now. looks like saturday might be high 50's with 3 mph wind! i smell a possible MAIDEN of my sexy new girl. fingers crossed! i cant wait to see her in the air. if she flies half as good as she looks i will be happy.

Jajajajajaj.... she flyes good... but to be honest, the trojan flyes better thats for me.. its more agile. dont get me wrong... its a beauty.... but is not as forgiving as the 28.... let me know how you go with the maiden

In my humble opinion, the PZ P-47D is the perfect first RC warbird. Wide landing gear, taildragger, nice power (even better with the Extra 300 prop) stock, and with flaps/retracts really makes for a great plane. The Trojan is a bit more floaty (like the original PZ Corsair) while the P-47 seems to track much better (especially with the gear up). Again, it's my opinion, but when it comes to classic warbirds in the 43"-48" range, nothing can compare to the PZ P-47D in my book.
