I've said it before and read it here. Step up to the PZ Eztra 300 prop and 40 amp esc. Go with a 2800mah battery and see what you think

I did use the Extra 300 prop for awhile and it is indeed a very good performer!

i have not seen a p-47 with a 2 blade yet so i cant be much less scale than a 3 blade can it? the 4 is where its at for sure. i do not care for top speed but dont want to kill the esc or motor either. i stay with the stock one until i figure out a good combo. i just really want a 4 on there and am happy to sacrafice speed for great looks and better slow speed thrust.

I think every 4 blade prop on the market has been discussed on this thread at least 3-4 times each. Just use the search function to find the info you need.

on a 3s hobbylobby 4 blade prop 9.5x10x4 you will need a turnigy g25 710kv motor and you would need a 40amp esc you will be fine. ecalc has your numbers at full wot max amp on motor is 23.45 and your pitch speed at 65mph

picked up my p-47 today! going to wrap it and put it under the tree for christmas. now waiting on the retracts and flap gear. yeah for me. im reading through to educate myself on all things p-47 but one question... with stock set up is a 4 blade possible or will it kill the esc or engine? just wanted to know whether i need to start shopping for more parts.

There is no need to change the esc when using the Extra 300 prop.

That's a very nice scheme and will help with visibility. I'll be posting a fun flight review of this bird as soon as it uploads to youtube. Can't wait. This plane is rock solid. I've got tons of landings on grass and pavement with the recommended retracts. Absolutely will always keep this bird in my hangar.
