No, it's just that the spectrum receivers have a very picky voltage tolerance, and then they brown out. Has nothing to do with radios or brands. It just happens that spectrum brand receivers all have this problem. Just a coincidence

The Hitec SPC thing powers the optima receivers off a huge range of voltages, so it won't brown out. You still need to power your servos, but if those brown out, it won't crash your plane, since they don't take 10s to reboot

Yup, mine came with flap kit, AND since I'm a Cheap Charlie, I just went ahead and used the existing struts, too -- five minutes with the Dremel and we were good to go, using HK retracts!

Depends on how often you think you'll be replacing it. I glued mine.

I used a few dabs of foam safe hot glue, for the vertical stabs, and servos.. Holds well, but easly removable.

Received my customRC motor mount, and just dry fitted it. The Turnigy mount works perfect with a torque 2814T/820, after you push the prop shaft threw. The factory cowl screw holes, even line up.

Looks great. I have this prop, but I dare not use it with my power25. I will have to wait until I get a power32.

why not? I am going to set mine up with the Power25 and the HL 4-blade and run on 4S is there some reason why you are not going to run this prop with the Power25?

The specs list this motor as only capable of 40amp continuous current. I think I will go over that this 11 inch prop.

No way! I'm running a power 15 with the HL 11" prop at 10" pitch. It flies great at 1/2 throttle, and will take short bursts of wot with no ill effects. I'm running 50amp Ice lite and had static tested with a 54 amps at wot, going down to 45. If you unload the prop, then you are within the safe zone of the esc unless you always flying at wot. It'll fly great at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle, and no over amp. If you want to go fast, put an extra 300 prop. The HL prop isn't a lot faster than the original, but the prop pulls like a tractor. (gets looks at the flying field too)
