I have about 30 flights so far and it is just awesome! I will try the 10x10 and see how it compares but my goodness I just can't see this thing going any faster!
the 12x6 is going to be slower than the 10.5x9, 9x9, 8x8, 11x8 etc.... You have thrust (a lot of vertical, prolly a whole lot) but that's it.

I ordered the aluminum motor mount four my Torque 820kv, and I grabbed one of these Scale four blade 11x10 variable pitch props from hobby lobby.. Very cool look. Should be a a blast on 4s!

JDM,

Thanks, but the 5 mm I need is out of stock. I think I can make do with what I have, I'm planning on mounting it with a solid mount, and drill out the prop hub. Rather than pushing the shaft threw the motor, and running a collet adapter. Either way I have a collet adapter that came with my torque motor. I believe that will work, If I decide to go that route.

Thanks again! My whole kit is still in the mail, I'll know more when I get my hands on it, and the motor mount.

After several years in this great hobby I discovered the e-flite P-47. Great scale flyer that has me reliving the successes of the US of the 1940's, making machine gun noises while making strafing runs. If I need help than so do most of you. No apologizes accepted.

Great Thanks trying to get a list together now to get everything at one time and just do all the mods at once, Retracts, Flaps 4-blade prop.

I thought I read somewhere here about a razor back conversion? will have to do a search on that one unless someone has a link to it and where to get it for this little bird, sure like the looks of the razorback over the D.
