Wow, this is one popular plane. Someday I would love to own a plane like this. I have always had a big interest in WWII so this is right up my alley. I have alot of learning to do yet though, as you can see if you have read my posts on the other two planes I own. But this plane is very interesting to me. I will keep flying and someday be ready for one of these warbirds. Very nice work guys.

I have been flying the Turnigy G25 870kv motor with the Turnigy Plush 60amp esc and a PZ 300 Prop on a 2200 4s...I was reading where someone used an APC 12x6E so I tried it and boy oh boy WOOOOOOWOWWWWWWEEEEE

Love this setup and longer flight times! I originally flew with 3s 2650s on stock and when I made the conversion 3s were just too slow. Now putting the 3s 2650 in with the 12x6E, the bird flies nice with 8 minutes easy flight time. Put a 4s and she freaking screams!!

Just passing this info along.

Couldn't you go sown to an 11 inch, or 10 inch, go up andpitch, and get a lot more speed for the same amp draw. A 12 inch is pretty big for the jug.

The razorback jug is a shoe in favorite. It looks good.

Copperb, he can I think. I have a different motor but having real good results with a 10x10 prop on the girl on 4s. This prop will suck down some mil-amps, though.

Yeah, the 10x10 is a good prop for this bird. I have it w/ 3s, and a g15. Easily outperforms the other stock (with extra props) P-47s at my club.

yup. I fly mine 4s with the xtra 300 10.5x9 prop with the eflite 25 1250kv motor. That is a screamer. Even better on my 9x9 or 10x10.

I was happy as a dog with a 22oz T-Bone with the xtra prop and I know that everyone says the 10x10 is a great prop but this guy swore by the 12x6E against all other props so I tried it for the heck of it. I have about 30 flights so far and it is just awesome! I will try the 10x10 and see how it compares but my goodness I just can't see this thing going any faster!

I learned to fly just before the PZt28 hit the marked, as soon as a was flying four channel I grabbed one and was never disappointed! I still recommend the t28 as a first 4ch. Every flyer that has taken my advice comes back to thank me!

I'm mostly a 3d guy but I love warbirds, and have a soft spot for the jug! I started building a 48" razorback, Manzano laser kit, with mechanical retracts a few months before this was released. After Seeing how good this one looks, my project jug started collecting dust, and still is.

I finally decided to build a performance version of the PZ Jug.
So I just ordered the Airframe kit, two hs65hb's, four hs55's, e-flite 10-15 retracts, pre-bent legs, and flap kit!

Im going 4s, and have a torque 2814/820/airboss 50 that will be powering this little gem. I also have half a dozen 2200 4s 30c packs that needed a plane.

It's great that pz sells a kit, but I'm not sure why they call it a replacement airframe? Has anyone ordered the replacement airframe? It looks like everything is included? Linkages, control horns, etc..?

Will I need anything else? Thanks for any info!

The kit is very complete. If you are going 4s and using the 820kv motor may I suggest a metal motor mount from Custom RC as to not melt the stock one.
