2001 Devil Mt. Electric Fly video availability
I just got an email from the owner of Lears Video Productions, Lloyd Lopez, on the soon to be released video of our Devil Mt. meet. We went from a small meet a few years ago to 56 pilots this year. That was up from 35 pilots last year, and we had so many cars, we almost ran out of parking space! Lears Video Productions is no small time fly by night outfit, so the tape should be great. I might add that Lloyd is the producers of such videos as the famous "Scale Masters", and Jets Over Deland". The Lears Video webpage has all the info on other videos. I've ordered mine, anyone else want one? Here's what Lloyd had to say in his email.
Hi Greg, The video will be out in about 6 to 8 weeks. If you want a copy of the video send a check to Lears Video Productions 571 Wildwood LN. Perris Ca. 92571. The total price of the video will be $20.00 PLUS $5.00 S/H. If you would like to reserve your copy send your check and your copy will ship as soon as it is finished. The price of the video will increse after the production is complete. Thank You, Lloyd Lears Video Productions |

I been wanting to post a picture of all the Ezoners that came to the Devil Mt. Meet a week ago today. I must say that my photo editing skills are very weak, however I enlisted the expertise of a fairly new member, Brian Nicolucci. Brian does these things for a living and got a copy back to me within 6 hrs. (sent to him at 12 last night, recieved the proof when I logged on at 6am this morning!) I was having trouble patching in a friend that couldn't make it to the group shot (busy with meet duties), so Brian add him in for me. Fine job Brian, thanks again!
Hint: No, it wasn't the guy on the right as we view it. |

He is a hat wearer.
I'm just amazed that we were able to get GregG to sit still for more than 3 seconds to get the picture in the first place. Normally he is just a blur B |

Fred: I watched GregG down 4 Mt Dew's with a Pop Rocks chaser. His feet didn't touch the ground for over 2 hours!
Eddy: Not Guy on right. Is it just me or have I seen a few guys from this photo on "America's Most Over-Amped"??? B |

Fred, don't be giving all my secrets away! Brian, you're such a tease. You didn't see me even touch any Pop Rocks while I downed the 4 Dew's today, so how can you say that? BTW, a special thanks to you and your son for coming out to the new field today and helping out. We got a lot done in a short time, didn't we. The place is really starting to take shape now. Phil demonstrated today that the flying there can be done with ease. The Old F*rt gang will just have to get used to the new regime around here. I keep having this picture in my mind about THE finest flying field in CA. It's going to take some time but if we all work together and keep on pushing, the dream will become reality. I think I'll take a few more Motrins and go lay down for awhile now.
Oh, no it isn't the guy with the grey hat and purple shirt. Gordon, I just noticed what you did to it, pretty funny. I feel sorry for the other guys though. |
