smoke is my wattmeter
I chose to build mine from parts since quite a few people had servo failures early on. I'd like to think their QC has improved but I can't say. I fly mine on 2200 and 2500s and I'll add it's not picky about CG. I may try to build my own taller landing gear someday because ground clearance has been an issue on not so great landings.

Just swapped my 970kv motor with a Rocket 3025 870kv from Hobbypartz and it looks promising. Pulls a bit over 800 watts with an APC 13x6.5. Ought to be fun once I get the aileron servos swapped. I think one was damaged in a previous crash. Here's what I'm going with.http://epbuddy.com/index.php?main_pa...roducts_id=256

This plane is an EXCELLENT flying plane. The gear is a bit problematic and really the only negative I have found.

You'll love it, it's super stable and tracks very well. If you want it lighter and a bit more floaty try the hyperion 3020-8 motor on 3s with a 13x5 prop. The motor is 2 ounces less than stock and the 3s is around 3 ounces lighter vs 4s. I pull 800 watts with that combo, feels better than stock motor on 4s.

Great! Thank you i have plenty90c 3 cells so will start slow. Will have to take tje poor plane in bits and repair/replace what i can. I had on the friends yak about 5 flights on a 4cell nanotech and it was awesome, now i dont want to go back to my extra300 so i sold it and buy some four cells this plane will rock! Thanks Slo!
