Turnigy C6374- 200 200kv motor

Gday from down under.
Ive got one of these Turnigy 2ookv, 30 - 40cc equivalent motors, with Sentillion 100amp esc. Using 8 s 3300's right now for testing.
Its installed in a Pheonix PC 21 with 18x8 prop.

Only getting 800 watts, 25 amps.

I see guys are running 22x8 props on this motor, would my low power be because there is not enough load from the prop? Ive ordered some higher pitched props, but limited to 18 inches dia cuz of ground clearance.
Im also waiting on a 10s 5000mah batts which will most likely fly this plane.

Just looking for some opinions, advice.
Yhis is my fisrst large scale conversion. Plane was flying with DLE 300cc engine, and was superb. Butt I want a more satisfiening sound.

18x8 is definitely too small on 8S. That model needs plenty of pitch speed, so I would go for an 18x12 on 10S.

Too small prop and too little voltage I run mine with a 22/8 with 12s 5000mah and got about 3,200 watts at close to 72 amps.I fly a Aeroworks Extra 260 85" wingspan.

Cheers bro, seems this motor is a more 50cc equivalent eh.
Ive got some high pitched props on order and 10s batts, should be fast, or at least equal to th 30cc.

What sorta runtime are ya getting with that set up?

It's no 3D monster for sure but for aerobatics with good vertical works fine.6 to 7 minutes flight time.

Tried, the 19x12 APC E prop, and a good increase in pwr/thrust,

1400 w
45 amps
5600 rpm
I think this will fly the plane quite nicely. But looking fwd to getting the 10s delivered, I quess somewhere in the vicinity of 2000w, 60-70 amps, 6500gs of thrust. I think it will outperform the 30cc quite well.

Got my nano tech 25-50c 4.5 amp 10s batts.
Really good results.
2.5 kw
67 amps
holding 41v
didnt get rpm, cuz of fluro lighting, tach wasnt working.
Feels like its pulling like the 30cc did.
Excited to fly it now, especially after the packs have had some cycles.

Just ordered the same engine for my Katana 85", I hope it will deliver enough power for good vertical with 12S 5000....

Also got a Turnigy 80-100 but seems too heavy and it's requiring too much W from batteries. I should put 12S2P 10000 which would
make the plane heavier than with a benzine engine....

Wait and see

I run one on 12s 5000mah FlightMax with a 22x10 Xoar. Pulls 2800-3000 watts. Works great in my 14 lbs AUW Seagull Bling 3D.
