Ground station wiring harness

I just got an Oracle diversity controller and another 900mhz RX for my ground station. The wiring for two receivers, diversity and the power harness is a little messy and I want to clean it up but keep it modular. Do you guys use shorter AV cables or just zip tie them? To keep the system powered by a single battery and make it plug and play, should I have a circuit board with micro deans connectors on acting as a power rail and when I add/removed something, just unplug it? I dislike barrel connectors since they are not all the same, usually keep those with the component. I wish they made 6",9" and 12" AV wires instead of 3 feet...

Im trying to not buy more stuff I just need to make a simple circuit board with 3-4 Deans soldered on so I can plug my battery stuff into.
