Luca,

on my Minimum I used plastic screws and small brass tubes glued flush into the mounting holes in the blades. Those brass tubes allow the plastic screws to shear cleanly without ripping the wood of the blades.

Looks like I might be able to use old health insurance cards to make the new plastic connectors for my blades-ironic, that.

there's a nut at the bottom of the blade. Yes. those screws just keep the blade from moving around.

I've soldered the landing gear wires, I was sure the stock joint, just a bit of shrink tube, won't survive first takeoff run; so I soldered with the help of some copper wire. I used a 80 W soldering iron to do the job.

the 1800 mAh 3 S (+160 grams) battery provides more power than the first one I tried (1550 mAh), longer flights (6/7 minutes). And it gives a better CG (heavier nose) too, the other was a little light (140 grams) in my opinion.
The Rotorshape flies great, the Cierva too but it's heavier. That's why I began with a light simple model !

Yeah my CG looks right even with 2S 1550 Rhino; may be because my tail is light due to pull -pull cabling and ultralight tail wheel. and rotor is checked and 90 deg with mast, pic does not mater, is in a random position

Hi guys have just finished reading this thread and found it very interesting. You might be interested in this:

I saw this autogyro recently when I visited the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney Australia. I couldn't get real close as they had it and several other planes hanging from their ceiling, but it was certainly a real eye catcher.

It's much lighter, with much longer rotors.

If you look closely at the windscreen of the back seat, you will see a 'OverHead Control Stick' going up to the head.
This was their early control system[no joystick-simular controls to a hanglider]

And a 'pre-rotator' drive sharft in front of the front windscreen, going up to the head from the motor.
