If you switch to satellite view and zoom to 100% - you get a good idea of the size.

I do have a spare fibreglass nose cone here somewhere. Mine is the only thing that has survived every crash I've had with my first foamie Hawk.

Just run up the hawk with the ARC 2858 and Wemo fan on 4cell and got 625w @ 42 amps. Really a 6cell setup. Measured the level flight speed the other day and got an average of
130 kmh. Flie's a treat with this setup haven't fine tune it yet but it's fairly quick for a draggy airframe.

Thats pretty close to Marks test data.
Can't wait to see this fly on 6s :-)

Was it alot of work getting the 70mm fan to fit?

I don't want to land yet!
Easy... I cut the bottom of the fuse open and made a sanding block, remove 3mm all round and you're in... Then drop your thrust tube in from the bottom too, close her up... Done!

No just remember to move it forward a bit. I learned from my 50mm jets ( Het wemo setups) the hard way, you know that little CofG thing. The heavier motors tend to mess with it a bit. I had to sand a bit but not to much I could have done a better job but rushed to get it in the air. I'm still very happy with it. Iv'e got a couple of 3cell I can run together I just gotta make up the adapter leads. My fuse wasn't glued great so I just gently peeled it apart. Other wise same as strike

I'm running orange 6 ch rx and spectrum dx6 on my Trojan t28d without a sattelite and it is working without any issues at all

Gravity sucks.
iv'e had no issues with my dx8 and orange dsm2 rx's [no sat] - but twice now i've had cutouts with my AR6200. It just completely quits - not lights, no servo responce, nothing. Thankfully both these occasions it's been on the strip, just before or during a take-off and suffered no damage.
