I have tape running from tip to tail on the underside. Also tape between the inlets and the wing. I recently ran a circumferance of tape around the rear of the wing's lip, around the fuselage, and it pulled the wing in nice and tight. That fixed my problem with a tendency to turn right on take off. The tape I use is the fibre reinforced packing tape, 1" wide. Real strong and doesn't stretch.

I've had pretty much every red plastic piece come loose and been reglued. Would hate to suck one into the fan. That DeltaV480 blade I am using is real nice. Quiet, no high pitched whine, instead its a whoosh sound of air flow.

Is this T-45 capable of a 70mm EDF? Maybe modded in some form. And if so, would the following fan/motor set-up work well?

Thanks

The 70mm took a LOT of sanding to get it to fit, but does work. I'm running the HET setup and barely getting 90mph.

what would you recommended for a 64mm option that gives the greatest speed?

Nice video, and nice place for flight ...

You are also in 3D gas flights?

I'm just starting on the cheapo Yak 54 3D monster from HK .... not sure I will be ever able to hover it in a nice way

Yes, I did the Doppler with the RCSpeedo and got 88MPH on the fastest past. I am running the 70mm fan though and after the two first flights, I noticed my clear tape was all bundled up in the thrust tube, which I'm going to guess slowed it down. I will re-fly it this coming weekend.
