Thanks David! Baudis pretty much supplies all those parts so I can only take the credit for the install. It was more like surgery trying to cleanly route all those wires! I'm not sure what I'll do if they ever make these fuselages any smaller.

I'm really happy with the 6125e's so far. They're nice and quiet and very smooth.

Cheers,
Vic

Wow Vic!

You are a patient man! That is a great Sailplane. It is still one of my favorite turning planes ever. It gets so locked in it can almost pivot on itself in some turns. It thermals like a dream too.

Good luck on the #1 flight!

Here's a Vid from last weekend

FOSAS at SDR (2 min 48 sec)

Noticeable Fosas appear noisy, doesn't matter if with RDS or w/o

Thanks for posting the video Thomas. The air was pretty light that day but the Fosa was fun to fly. I ended up not altering the bends on my RDS arms and can say it has plenty of stopping power and roll authority, at least on the slope. Ian

Ian - Sam has the Fosa F3B and I have a Fosa F3F.

I am experimenting with snap flap settings and would be curious how much others use like Tom Kiesling. His Fosa was turning well in the video Bob posted above.

I use a ratio of about 1 to 1. For every mm of elevator throw, I use a mm of flap throw (both measured at the TE of the root).
