Looks like the Fosa is shaping up pretty well as an F3F model. Mine won the first two F3F competitions it has flown in, the second comp being the UK National Champs. Today I took it to the flat field for the first time, and it is without doubt a worthwhile step forwards from my Ceres, still a very competitive all round model. It launches very well, travels around superbly, and yet can be slowed right up and climb away from those thermals you get when you are on approach to land. I had several flights today with low passes followed by a climb straight back to 1000' +

I am very satisfied.

And those wins were all the planes', not anything to do with the pilot, huh, Simon??

Congrats, and good to hear that the model is working for you.

Have you flown F3F with it in light conditions yet, close to the lowest limit of raceable wind?
That is the only place where I feel a little wanting with my Ceres for F3F.

Thanks in advance.

It has to be all the plane - my 'golden balls' have been rather tarnished of late There are too many 'young guns' coming along. The Nats was in light conditions at the start (4-5 m/s) which build through the day to maybe 10-12 m/s tops. The KPT the previous week was windier, and the model was a pussy cat in those conditions.

I actually just found out that a 3 week long fleet training op for my boat scheduled in
August got cut to 2 days, so, yep, looks like I have more time on land now. Its good,
and bad. More time, less money.

Target: So that means you are free to run the Grass Mtn. 2-Day Unlimited? There is room in the matrix for one more.

Of course not!
I have to launch weather balloons somewhere in the Pacific Sat-Tues each day for
the Navy.
Friday is my scheduled off day, and I took tomorrow off, so I will be building someone's
absolutely beautiful Aspire Light V tail TD plane

Thanks for the invite though.
