I'm suprised at the price. That's $50 more than the Dynam DC3 (Skybus) which is similar in size and content.

I spoke to Grayson Hobby last week and they expect to have them in any day now. Their version will be RX ready without radio and battery and they expected it to be priced very near the DC3. "Maybe only a few dollars more" I was told.

I think I'll wait to get that version and maybe get a better deal.

Same here I'll wait to see what Grayson comes up with? As I said I bought my Skybus from them and have no complaints...

$169 at NP with the discount code. The DC-3 was $159 when it came out. With time the 310 price will drop just as it did with the DC-3. Graysons will be about $140 minus the radio I suspect.

that discount code at nitro is tempting!

when i ordered my second dc3 from grayson it was shipped (and tracking) within a couple of hours of purchase. it got to my house in just a couple of days. hard to beat that kind of service. they've got my business.

Ordered one today from Nitro. Just didn't want to wait any longer. I've made a couple of plane purchases from them with no problems. But, the planes arrived intact and had no issues... Hope third time is a charm.

I flew Tony's test model, the nose landing gear, the grub screw is a piece of crap, goop it up as much as you can. It's a smooth flyer with a LOT of power!! Almost unlimited vertical. The spinners need diffrent screws than the stock ones, the stock one are too shore and strip ouT easialy!!! Hope you guys have fun with it!!! =)

Does anyone know what retracts work with this plane (Tony commented on them in his video)? Is NP selling a good set to fit this bird?

Hmmm.... Well the foam is still in there where the retracts can go bou it's fre cut so it shound just pop out, hmm if they have micro retracts they might just work.... There's no pre-built mount so you have to build one...

Wow. Nitro Planes is already out of stock on these. Lasted only 4 days. Glad I've got one on the way and scheduled for UPS delivery on Friday.

I built mine last night and it only took 20 minutes. Applying the decals took a little longer! The aircraft came with chrome painted spinners instead of white, which looks ok. The motor cowls were not glued on real well, so I applied clear tape to allow for removal as needed. My daughter and I are fans of the 50's TV Show "Sky King!", so you know this plane was a must. An early Christmas gift!

I'm looking forward to the PnP version from Grayson to modify and paint this aircraft like the "Songbird" Cessna 310 from the show. I'll post pictures soon.

Regards,
Tony
