Nice. I've heard of a 22/40/2E, but not a 22/40/1E. Sounds like a sweet motor. Did you do any upgrades, bearings, internal fan? Have you measured no load or rm? Looking forward to flight results.

Thanks! Haven't done any upgrades. I'm not experienced with motor surgery and think it would be wrong to start with this one... Haven't done any testing yet but the measured data (from MEGA) reads 2090kv and 2mohm resistance (1p).
I will post CC logs in a week or so. (if the weather allows)

That's interesting. A MEGA 22/45/1e as a Rm of 0.005 for one phase. Seems like a 22/40/1E would have a Rm of 0.0045. Dan must somehow be stuffing more copper in there now.

Getting an ICE 150 would be like going backwards right now. You just tested the 7x8 @ 180 amps (3.325 volts per cell) 25,300 rpm correct ??

Your motor is not limited to that one battery.
You could parallel another smaller battery and run a Q-40 7.4x8 prop for 15 mph jump in top end speed. Go to 8x8 for another 10 - 15 mph again. Your motor can support 10 second bursts of well over 150 amps. Well over 200 amps. Even beyond 250 amps.

You need the ICE 200 right now Dude.

Still not ordered the 200 and am contemplating what to do. Discussing solutions with the chief wiz'es...
