I switched to the 22-50-1e with 5s5000 and an ICE Light 200. Ran an 8x8 and LOVED the sound and speed. Data from in-flight is VERY COOOOOOLL !!!
Didnt need the bungee as Popcorn gets hand launched.

When I want to fly with 4 cells, I will use the 22-40-1e that you used to have.

When I want to fly with 5 cells, looks like this 22-50-1e will be king

Now, I just need a great 6 cell motor for an 8x8 prop !!

If the correlation between can length and #cells is continued Dan will be winding a 22/60/1E soon?

If that can (22-60-1e) ever does get built, I would expect the kv to be a little low for 6 cells.

The 22-50-1e is on the ragged edge,
I am wondering about the 22-60-1.................if it ever gets built, would it be the 6 cell king ?
A little more resistance than the 22-50-1e and a kv thats pretty close .......??????????.......... !!!

Other option is 22-55-1e .................... ?????

I might play around a little here and there, but as of now, I have more than enough motors to mess around with for the next few years, including assembling some never flown motors and getting some repairs taken care of.

Hägar is being upgraded and will soon be ready for HIGH velocity

ICE100 is given a rest and the ICE200 takes it's place.
The HK 380Max servos have fallen into distrust, and are replaced with Hitech 85MGs.
The 22/35/1.5ER will soon be fed by a 5S4000 45/90 battery swinging the 8*8 some 23+ K rpm

This should be fun!!!

Do you have the static prop test ICE data from the 5s4000 and the 8x8 prop ??

If I could weigh in on a little suggestion ..... ?????

Allow the ICE ESC to be fully open for the airflow to carry away all of the heat it can.

Was no time for static tonight. You should see the space under the canopy. Almost a cm headroom for the 200... Will monitor temps closely and maybe cut of some more of the canopy

Any chance of cutting off the entire cover (left to right) along the front edge of the window .............. that would get the airflow that has produced fantastic results for everyone who has had the bowls to try it.
