Very Nice! I am going with the same setup as you. Do you have a pic of how you mounted the cam? I am trying to figure out the best/easiest way to mount it without doing the most modification to the radian...

I used heavy duty velcro...right behind the plastic battery hatch cover. I was able to hold the plane from the camera when attached so no problems at all. Just be sure to use heavy duty and not the standard household velcro. It actually takes quite a bit of effort to remove the camera.

I am seriously considering the GoPro Hero Camera:
1 What does it weigh..... Go Pro's specs do not give a weight??????

2. To me that Wide Angle is WAY WIDE. Does it give a "fish-eye" look
to the Still Pics? How about the fish-eye effect on the vids?

Thanks for answering.

1. 3.5 ounces

2. It is a fish-eye lens and its there for photos and video. If you mean fish-eye as in the black rounded boarder in the video, no it doesn't have that. Have a look at my video above for an example. I really like the effect, you capture so much more.

It has the barrel effect in both pictures and video, uses a 170 field of view, you can easily correct the photos with the program "GML Undistorter" or like, I'm still searching for a good way to correct the video, I have not gotten Virtual Dub to work.

Why on earth would you want to correct the video?

To get rid of the slight barrel effect from the lens as stated.

But that's what makes the video looks so cool. That wide view is excellent!

anytime you have a wide field of view you get some distortion personally its not bad its only very obvious when the a/c is up high you see the curvature but note when he lands and low on the ground the distortion is not so apparent

great video keep them coming

You want to stabilize the pitch and roll corrected to the horizon with what I call active stab on my EZ Glider pusher convert. This will not have as much of the visual effect because it maintains the horizon mid field of view. I also use 3 gyro stab on flight control channels.

Just a suggestion
