Looks good to me too, maybe you can post some static pics on it ?
Is this the smaller version of the foldable tri that i bought from you ? Or is it a totally new design ?

Hi

It is new, non-foldable desing.
Frame is really small - only 160mm motor to center - folding is not necessary

I'll make similar quad too

Ps. I measured flying time - over 15min with Emax 2822 motors,
8x4.5 props and LiPo 2200mAh.

Why do I get the feeling that my Paypal account is due for anoher hammering this month ?

I must resist as I still have to get my Y6's built.

Price <> 60e level, plus 7e for servo if you will want.

Because this is true

I see only one reason to make Y6 - it is good looking
But almost exactly the same like 2x cheaper TRI...

Negative side:
- <> 2x more expensive than TRI,
- <> 1.5x more expensive than QUAD,
- no redundancy exactly,
- only little more payload than quad,
- very easy to damage lower props/motors in case of hard landing.

No positive for me, sorry

IMHO - for fun flying (with small camera or FPV too)
perfect are TRI or QUAD, for heavy payload OCTO or more props.

For me Y6 is money wasting.
But if anybody want, why not - this is just hobby

What about saving the yaw mechanism in case of Y6 ?
For some people, this is the main selling point

Proper designed TRi frame are equipped with sturdy yaw mechanism.
I have two TRI frames this moment with the same YAW.

Bigger:

Smaller:

Never broke yaw mechanism! In case of very hard impact
only bearing screw will bend. You can straighten it just using
hands and fly

Only one time I broke servo in yaw mechanism - after direct
strike into concrete wall.

IMO TRI is much more durable than Y6.

Ps. Sorry for my English.

J.
