I really like the designs and they are weill thought out and very easy to build. I started wit hthe G10 quad which si stil gogin strong and has survived the summer very well and still is as good as when I built it.

The Tri is to have a play with while I working on my Y6 and I just had to have a look at the Sexycopter so I could compaire it with the Y6 to see how they differ.

All I can say is it's a good job I'm not addicted the multicopters

Jakub, nice work and look forward to the new products!

Now with the benifit of Jakub's build video I have finally managed to find a home for the spare bits I had left over after my dry fit build .

I have replace the screws I had used for the wrong things and it looks just liek the pictures now which I think is probably a good thing. It also went together much easier as I had also not used the 3 nut captive plate for the rear boom (I had been wondering where it went).

I have also put the motors on and connected the ESC's up to the KK board so I can confirm everything is rotating the correct way and the tail servo is at mid travel. The servo is a TowerPro SG91R which came with the kit and the yaw assembly is made for.

So now I'll start the final stages and get the cabling properly secured and also get some LED strip installed, which for me anyway helps no end to keep track of what is pointing where.

More to follow and thanks Jakub for the videos as they help no end.

Mike.

Edit. I have used some 8mm long anti vibration mounts for the KK board as I intend to try the LP gyro board in this one after the intial flights.

The one thing I have noted about the frame is the ability to dampen any vibrations. The 6061 frame which is all metal can be s*d and you have to get everythign balanced for video, and you cna bfeel the vibrations through everything.

With this one the G10 body seems to dampen down any vibratons from the booms. It may be that I have just got better the more of these I have built, but this one has exactly the same drive system as the 6061, but is much smoother when you have the frame in your hand spolling things up.

Final flight weight is 900g with a 3c 3000 30c Lipo. Motor are RC Timer 750kv with currently 10x4.7 props but may dop those down to 8x5's as it seems a little lively and wants to lift off at 25% throttle, si I may have over specked it

I have the same motors

Start with 8" - much more easy to control, then swith to 10-11"

I think your right about that but it's nice to know I have a little extra in hand

Thanks for a great frame Jakub, really happy with it and looking forward to getting some air under it.

Jakub, are you going to offer a similar upgrade for the Sexycopter frame, and if so how much?

Would be nice to have the camera below the booms as you get a clear view, but just a thought for the Hexa as you don't have a good view over the booms.

Thanks, Mike.

Do you have any plans to build an undercarriage with built in tilt mount? I'd really prefer to mount my camera under the frame, but all of the camera mounts that I've been looking at cost an arm and a leg. €25 would be a nice price to pay for an extended skid with a fixed anti-vibe mount for a camera and ~ €35 for the same with a tilt mount.
