B-25 sold by hobby-lobby, anyone familiar? Pics?

Hobby lobby has nothing beyond the basics on their site and a search of Ezone turns up nothing.

That has to be it.

I can't believe nobody around here has built it or seen it in person...

In fact I believe some people have. Do a search on the forums, I believe youīll find a few people who have the model. If it really is the JR model.

I did a search and found one reference... seems strange.

HAve you seen this thread?

I think thatīs the plane. Iīve been looking at JR kits for a while, but found them very expensive and I prefer all-balsa construction. They seem to be VERY nice kits, though.

The plane in the Hobby Lobby catalog is the one that I built about 5 or 6 years ago. Before going to SEFF this year I gave the old bird a remotor.

The original setup was geared speed 400's.

The new setup is 2-AXI 2808/24 motors, 2- 18 amp Jeti controllers, 8-CP2400 batteries, and 2-Graupner 3 bladed 8x6 props. My B-25 has fixed landing gear that adds some weight and drag, but with this setup the model flys really well. The power is strong but not way beyond scale. Flight times are 5-6 min.

By the way it is a JR kit.

Agree JR Kit here's a hobby shop link http://www.ajhobby.com/product.asp?pid=762
Jack's plane in Can Colours flies very nice he iInstalled drop landing gear. Not shure on motors I think Phasor 15 BL . S400 would be a poor motor choice.
