Planes and items for sale
I've got to thin out the hangar a bit (or get a divorce) so I gave it some really hard thought and figured I could spare just a few planes to make her happy (hey, well make concessions, right?)
So up for sale is One Bat flying wing. <SOLD PENDING PAYMENT>I have forgotten who makes this kit, but it uses an epp foam wing with a built up "fuse" to house the motor/battery/electronics. It currently has a 6v speed 400 with a gunther prop and an FMA mini 20amp esc and sermos connectors. The wings currently have FMA S90 micro servos in them. I'll include a 1000mah sanyo 8cell pack with it as well. The entire package shipped for $125. Just add receiver & crystal and it's ready to fly. It flies just fine on the speed 400....and on a brushless it's just nuts. Very aerobatic for a wing. I'll sell the plane without any of the gear (bare airframe) for $50 shipped. I will have to remove the vertical stab (it just pops off) to make it shippable. It can be reattached in 5 minutes with some epoxy or ca. One Fundango kit. <SOLD PENDING FUNDS> New in box. This kit is a fun fly park flyer type plane with a carbon boom, wing with ailerons, and rudder & elevator. Would like to get $35 shipped. One Electrostreak original kit. I'd like to get $55 shipped for it. I think I did get rid of the goldfire paperweight out of the kit though. These are out of production now that Great Pains is is doing the E-streak as an arf, and many still like the built up version. Heck...I still fly a built up version that's about 10 years old (on it's 3rd fuse now!) One Triffik pylon plane. This plane is in excellent shape, almost entirely brand new. I had bought an extra wing and horizontal for my other triffik, but never crashed it. So eventually I just got around to buyign a brand new fuse and nose cone for the wing and horz. stab I had, and that left me with an almost entirely new plane. In perfect shape, just add gear and fly. I'll sell it for $90 shipped, and it's a hoot. Very fast. Not quite as fast a vip, and will slow down a bit more since the wing has more chord...but it's still a rocket. I fly my other triffik on a mega 1615/3 and it looks to do about 90 or so on 8 kan950's. <SOLD>One Graupner Cumulus 2000 electric sailplane. Very nicely built and covered. I have removed the two HS81's that were in the fuse for the ruddervators, but left the control horns in place. They fit in a tray that is still installed. It does still have the pair of HS81's in the outboard wing panels (these are nicely installed with the wires routed in tubes..very clean install, so I didn't want to pull them). The plane has teh electric nose cone that slips on. I had a graupner speed 480 with a planetary in it with a jeti 35 esc. On an 8 cell pack (600ae's or Hecells) it had fantastic climb...it it'd float and thermal well). Now that I'm getting into hotliners I can let this one go. $150 shipped for the plane and wing servos, or $125 shipped without the wing servos. It has a V-tail that the instructions call to be bolted to the fuse...that setup isn't very good and so they're attached with a touch of epoxy at the root. I'd probably remove them for shipping rather than risk having them damaged. They can be re-attached rather easily, the angle is already at the root. For another $25 I'd include the jeti 25amp esc. The quality of this plane is very nice. I still have the instructions and decal set for it as well (decals were never applied). <SOLD PENDING PAYMENT>One Hobby Lobby Speedy plane. Not sure exaclty how to classify this plane...it's sort of a cross between a pylon plane and a park flyer...it would almost thermal if you could get it a bit lighter (mini ac or razor bl motor?). The plane currently has a 6V speed 400 in it with a graupner spinner and prop. It has an fma S90 micro servo in it (in wing). The aileron setup is kind of hokey (stock setup gets a lot of comments) and I had considered installing separate aileron servos but never got around to it). Needs just a servo for the elevator. The nose of the fuse has had the motor mount glued back in a couple of times, so it's not perfect. No big cracks or anything, just signs of glue. Just cosmetic imho, but worth mentioning. Also has one small ding in rear fuse (pictured). It was a smal crease from shipping, and doesn't appear to effect the integrity of the fuse. Certainly hasn't affected how it flies. The fuse is perfectly staight (it's a fiberglass fuse). Other than that..no real flaws with the plane. It has a jeti 35 esc in it (overkill). I'll include a 7cell pack of HEcells (and two extra loose cells) with the plane as well, so it's RTF with just your rx and crystal. Whole package as described (plane/servo/motor/spinner/prop/esc/battery....for $140 shipped, or bare airframe for $70 shipped. A few nic nac items. One strontium 150 cobalt <SOLD PENDING FUNDS>(or is it neodymium) 550/600 sized motor. Has a 5mm shaft. This would be fantastic for someone with a big esc that can handle it. I think it's designed for 10 cells (a good Estreak motor maybe) $30 obo One like new Permax turbo 450 motor. A couple of minutes runtime...never got around to actually flying it...all it's had are wires soldered to it. $23 One 10 cell 350mah nicad pack $10 One 7cell 1000mah nimh sanyo <SOLD>HR5/3aau pack $8 One laptop battery pack that's got a dozen sony 1800mah CGR lithium-ion cells in it (those big blue ones) $12. Shipping is $2 for any of the little nic nac stuff. I can take paypal, or a m/o is fine too. I'm not looking to trade this stuff unless it's for nice hotliner type planes/equipment and/or brushless motors and a phoenix esc. Prices are semi-firm. Thanks zone. Warning, many pictures to follow. I'm going to assume that people will know what a Bat, Cumulus, Triffik, and Speedy look like. The order of precendece will to those who commit, and then to emails (send me an email at lanceferry@hotmail.com or email me through the button next to PM's) then PM's, and lastly posts here in this thread. Ideally I hope not to have to deal with the "well I posted here before that guy pm'd you" type of stuff. I'm not trying to run an auction or a flea market either, I'd just like to sell a few things and move onto/into some more hotliner stuff. (Although the wife needn't know about any more hotliner stuff) Oh, and if anyone has a futaba 9CH or 9CHP transmitter, I'm really wanting one of those, and will buy/trade/trade+cash for one. |

Hey, I was wondering if you could tell me more about the batteries from the laptop? are they lithium etc? what kind of plane can they be used on. I am very interested and if they will fit my needs I will buy them from you.
thanks Justin Arnold |
