WSTech DataVario

I was so impressed with the WSTech DataVario In decided to do a series of video clips (6 in all) on how it works and what it offers.

I talk about the vario as well as some of the additional sensors for a while, and then go flying at about Part 4 of 6.

Now there may be some errors, but hey, I'm still learning, I only had some bullet points to work from, and it's about the best I can do given my resources and few weeks play-time with it; I hope that you at least get something out of them.

I have no affiliation with WSTech other than buying two of his Varios.

I will post all six clips progressively (still rendering them for YouTube). It's all in 1080i HD, so you might want to let them load first to save frustration.

Yeah, good stuff, thank you for spending the time to do this. On a side note, what video camera are you using on-board the plane? I like the field of view it has.

Nice shirt too

@Fluffracka - Thank you.

@Malachite - My pleasure. Glad you picked up the T-Shirt.

The camera is a GoPro Hero in the Naked version.
Manufacturer Site:

I have a few videos on my YouTube Channel (ShootBigBird).

This camera is about as good as they come. It's easy to use and captures amazing HD video. Stills are good also.

WsTech DataVarios are available on the European legal 433MHz ISM band
and on the US legal 462 MHz FRS band

I think Australia operates on the ISM band but you would need to check with your National Body.
