What's the deal with the Turningy Nano-techs??
They work great above 50 degrees F. Below that they need to be kept warm and then insulated during use.

In the Summertime, They are great and well worth $2+shipping.

Question..

Is there a thread that sheds light to a 55 gram T28?..

I have ALL the gear from a micro beast sitting beside a used XP frame..
I am tempted to put it this one.. The Sukhoi flies good at higher weights but becomes a challenge in tight indoor places.

Im hoping for a powerful indoor plane and its T28 or Champ.. champ and xp fly good at 55g, what about the T28? thanks..

T28 has less wing area. Make it much heavier and the stall speed is going to be fairly high. The champ takes more weight better because the wing loading is low. Where is 'the line'? Find someone that loaded it up too much...

T28 38g
Champ 38g
(from the respective specs pages)

Embargo lifted.

I know the Champ can take a fair amount of extra weight, like a gum stick vid cam and a bigger battery not entirely sure about the T-28 though.

there's video of the FPV T-28. That plane has to weigh nearly 50g and it seems to fly OK with the stock motor.

Also there are T-28's with 500 mAh batteries (+9g) on You-tube. The wing might need a little carbon, if you are going to double the thrust.

Are you sure that ESC mentioned recently would be too big if it had the HS and extra wire removed? It would drop down to about 1g.

EDIT: I would still go for one of the 3A ESC's from HK instead just because the reviews of the 5A say that it's a piece of crap.
Okay, thanks!

OK , here's my mods. Or more likely, kit bashed T-28. She looks pretty good on the air.

The Avenger would be good. My sons T-28 will soon become a Zero.

Yep, if you keep everything cosmetic, it dosent harm the flying qualities.

Wow! Dauntless is awesome!!! I was gonna turn mine into a Zero like my big T-28, but it flew so nice stock I didn't have the heart to mess with it!

Great job!

Woah, that's some awesome kit bashing right there. Just got mine around two weeks ago, great step up from a 3 channel plane. Only mods i have is some box mods, to let me put the Trojan in the box without removing the landing gear. what else do you guys suggest?

When my trojan finally dies, maybe in a year, do you think i could transfer the gear over to a dumas walnut scale plane? that would be awesome. But i got get some weight specs for the bare micro t 28 airframe and a bare dumas walnut scale frame. to google!!
