This prop works too but seems to be too much for these motors. Makes them get really hot and you get short flight times.

I have been running a 5043 prop on my oldest and most beat up and used T28 since new. It was the first one at our local hobby shop. In good weather I fly it almost every day and have beat it to a pulp, glued, reglued, taped, and I don't have any idea how many hours it has on it and the 5043 prop doesn't seem to have affected the motor at all. It is quite a bit heavier than my good T28 due to the excessive glue and tape also.

Here's a tip for future reference:

You can't paint a turd Yellow and put a lightning bolt on it and call it a "J-3 Cub".

The name "Yellow turd-plane" isn't taken, so you change the name to that and no one would complain.

Also, if you had not noticed, this is a Thread about T-28 mods, not "Yellow Turd Planes"

My only mod is I placed a MCX battery mount tray on the under belly, stuck it into the foam for easy removal of batteries with out the darn velcro! Works great, should give it a try guys. Velcro has plagued my planes and batteries, causing the connector on the battery it self to come loose from not fitting in the charger right etc.

Love the carving styro-foam out of the box to fit it in with landing gear. I've had to glue the mount back on the plane 2 times now lol from taking the gear on and off.

I've colored the end of one wing blue, the other yellow, (top and bottom), and placed 2 very large black stripes on the bottom of the wings- makes perceiving direction and orientation much much easier.
