They are 36mm diameter-ish but I don't think they will fit a Habu solution. I would like to run a 6s 4000s because our strip is too short for heavy planes with small wheels.
The 1500KV Nue in the DS-44 on 8s or 9s,(with throttle management if your nuts) with a squeeszd Thrust tube would be a screamer. (airframe Mods required)

We are building one with a DS-44 in it, and it should be flying soon.

We should be seeing some test results on our new 80mm "Hush" EDF soon.

Woo hooo!!
Let me know if there's gonna be a break in the weather this weekend. I'll shoot down there and bring the 8s MEGAbu too.

EDIT:
Oh Bob I forgot to mention the canopies that fly off. Remember Corys flying off when you guys were gonnna fly formation? Did you extend the latch pin?
There's a pic of the mod in the Habu race thread. You could also just put a screw in it.

Wow 159mph.
The stock rotor need to spin 53k RPM to get that speed and I know Nick 8s Mega only do 46k RPM.
What make your set up so different from Nick to get 159 MPH and Nick only get 140 average.
Are this different Mega motor you sell?
If it is and you really did get that speed.
That a great motor and you should sell bunch of them.

Another question how did Spencer get 139mph on 6s on stock fan.
If he did get 139 mph. That need 2.8kw at 46k rpm.
How you guys get Mega motor on 6s doing 2.8kw not killing the ICE 100 or the motor.
I kill 1409 1y in a minute with that power on 6s and that had heat sink help cooling the motor.
Mega must had magic magnet that never get hot.

You and Spencer really suprise me with your speed and I test this stock rotor in many different watts level. But never get the speed you getting.
Congratution to Efflux team...

We got 127, 132, 135 and 139 on 4 consecutive runs. There was a slight tailwind during these passes. If you don't believe us Gregg F was standing right next to me so he can attest to it. This was without a nose gear door. I just installed one and will be doing an official video for the contest as soon as our field opens up after the repaving.
