Chris Avllino, there is a prop adapter included with the motor. You don't need (or want) to reverse the shaft. The EF/torque prop adapters are better in my opinion, better than the grip adapters used with, for example, e-flite power X motors.
Use loctite when you put the prop adapter on.
Also, don't forget to put the shaft collar on the shaft side. File or grind a flat if there isn't already one (I can't remember if the 48" sized torques come with a shaft that already has a flat on it). Again, use loctite. The shaft goes on before the motor mount.
whoops i wondered what that collar was for. my son's been flying his a for a while without it. what exactly does it do and how important is it, translated i'm not looking forward to taking the spinner, prop, cowling and motor off to put that little thing on there!
