killer twin.. I assume you will have more toqrque but what will give you speed is the rpm of the fan. will you have more now on 6s?

Take a look at this, you need power? This is a Lander Alu Housing/wemo blade/velocitymotor on 4k/65c/5s

I just hate having a useless lander unit that does not perform well so the motor upgrade well make me happy .I just cant use an edf unit that can only handle a 3s and the 4370 kv motor when I tried 4s couldny handle it so refitting a more powerful motor will give me the options I want .If it works like I hope I will do my other lander unit wich has the 3450 kv motor

Killer, I just built a Lander for a friend with a 1W30 that I tested to 2100 watts @ 146 amps, not that he'll run it at that but its doable, a 1W30 is rated at 4s max 1400 watts @ 120amps guaranteed

was that 68 mm unit you put together?if yes then wich one ,i just cooked the 3450 on 5s and it is assembled different than than the 4370 one .The can motor is threaded on the exterior and screws in to the motor mount and is held in place with grug screws.I may be s.o.l. on modding this one unless I can find a lander replacement

Dynam no longer make an airframe only version...
If you really want one, I could look into getting it in using spare parts..

Had bunch of fun today flying 3 Meteors at once.
Even tried formation flying.
Mine (in the middle is the oldest on 4s 5000mAh)
Other two are on 4s 3600mAh.
Couple other guys were asking, who know they might get in to it.

The grub screws are just securing the bullet over the motor, you have to remove the impeller then the mount screws behind the impeller to remove the motor. The motor should have thermal grease on the exterior to transfer heat so get a rag before you disassemble. Also grind the tip of the bullet off making a 1/2in hole for air.

yes I got apart once I got a closer look at it.I guess I will have to use a lander motor to replace the burnt one .the prop adapter must be loctite in cuz the shaft just came right ot of the motor with little effort, thanx for the tip on the bullet I will do that on the other unit that the arc is going in.I still would like your thoughts on a replacement motor with threaded can .Or should chunk it and and get a non treaded housing .thanx Apex

I just finished this one in my custom "Military Sport Trainer" scheme.

Is it a Meteor, or is it a Habu? I'll let you decide...

Tailpipe outlet size.

I flew my new Meteor today and it flew very well. I had the old HABU at the field and they were both sitting in the bench and I noticed the tailpipe size was different. The HABU is 59mm and the Meteor is 62 mm. What would be the effect of this assuming the same fan size and rpm?
