Construction is carbon/Kevlar and weight is 2.2kg with room for 1.5kg of ballast. For the DS flying on the 30/12 I added 0.5kg of ballast in the wing.

yeah I think Chris just needs to know enough to work out what category it goes in ... mainly span. He'd really like it if you sent him a nice picture of the Larrikin so he can put that on the database.

There's a JW DS "super" special that has 14 spars stock.
3 -4 piece main spars, 2 drag spars.
I've still got the kit...waiting for the right time to unleash it

Remember... Fly for fun!
I really like that planform of the Nimrod, Josh. Looks like it could be a winner... build a heavy DS version, give it to AVB to take with him to the US, and get one of the top pilots over there to break the 60" record with it haha.... maybe

Thanks Alex! It seems to be a real handfull though. Im always fighting it in roll and it wont lock in like the d60 does. Ive built a light and a heavy one and much to my discust it seems the original plug had a bit of twist and I think im always fighting that. Works your reflexes though!

Faaaar out! New World Record! Chris was saying yesterday that they were going to NOrco and 60mph wind forecast. But he's said that a few times before! Incredible. Hearty congrats to you guys!!!

D60 speed at 360 exactly matches Joe Manor's 60" record.

How the list sorting works on RCSpeeds or is supposed to work

Oh Boy , I'm getting the question, "Why did you decide to put yourself on top of the Dynamic 60 inch list and Joe Manor under you at number two when he got the speed first?" RCSpeeds has a set of instructions and it creates the lists.

From the beginning the Program, (RCspeeds) was supposed to put whoever got the RECORD speed first on top of the "Record Lists" so if you look at the 60" list you'll find that Joe is on top of that but he's second on the Dynamic 60 list. The program pulls the data out of a SQL data base and sorts it per a set of instructions. I don't actually make each list I just enter the data into an input form. There were a few problems with how the data was sorted on a few lists and there may still be some, (work in progress). The dates on some lists were and may still be incorrectly sorted alphabetically. April was put before Jan, Feb n Mar because it started with an "A".

I was once on top of both the 80" list and the D80 list but last spring Astan Singh tied my speed. How did RCSpeeds order the lists. Well you'll see that I'm over Astan on the 80" list and he's above me on the D80 list, same as me and Joe. I'm open to suggestion to changing it to be the same on both but if I do it's a code change,,, (I DO NOT make the lists I make a set of instructions and a computer program makes the list.
