Ja. It's particularly difficult to follow the tow plane on the ground with a cross-wind with auto-rudder, Jak!

Wow! Very nice!

Those wing tips seem pretty close to the slope face at times.

Schoenies

Sean nice photos of yesterdays outing at Schoenies.
The photo of with our local SAP is proof that they were searching for Bakkies who violated the "no slopie to be flown within 10m of the public flying rule.

Happy NEW YEAR!!!!

So this is the end of 2012....... cool. Hopefully 2013 will have more SSW wind for us.

To all the lurkers and contributors of the PE Slope-Rebel thread thank you for making it a interweb home.
To all the guys I have slope with thanks for sharing the lift with me and putting up with all Sean's screaming and shouting.
To all our international friends thank you for adding a foreign flavor to our PE Slope thread it has been really great to meet you and it has taught me to adapt my sense of humor accordingly. (that was not for you Beagle, you are a local)

To all the guys that read the thread..... it's all true!

If you have some special moments to share about 2012 do it now.... pictures, video's or just a one-liner... please share!

Here is a little bit of my "Slope" 2012 in just over 3mins....... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Awesome vid bakkie !!!

from 99% lurker 1% contributor, but its great fun following the PE site, hopefully well catch up on the slopes next year.

Looking forward to some serious flying in 2013, hopefully well have some new footage from all the new GoPro3's on the slopes, if Father Christmas were kind this year.

Thank You

Another short note to the many on this forum. Greg thank you for the many well done video posts. They make long distance lurkers like me feel welcome to follow your many outings and gatherings. Sean, your many kind responses to my often ignorant posts are much appreciated. I am trusting you all will have a very Blessed and Happy New Year.

Thanks Arlen and the same to you! Two things that I have learnt from you ..... one, that I should appreciate South Africa's weather, because of that snow plow you have posted earlier. Mowing the lawn in summer is enough! ...and secondly...I love those mountains of yours! On a short visit to the States, I had the chance to appreciate part of the Rockies. Next time, I want to slope there!

May 2013 bring plenty of lift to you!

cheers,

Jakes
