It is aramide, but not sure about the brand (Kevlar = aramide from Dupont).

Ok but I will have some real info at 16-17 October when is our final F5B competition.
Then I will be able to fly at bases with 6kW setup ( hope my ESC return from CC in time).
I will not fly it till then.

Hi Georgi,
When is the 6kW? Static, on switch on, or at Base A entry?
Which controller did you send back to Castle?

It's 6kW at switch on.This was with 8 response , then I put it on 6 response and it was giving 0,5-0,6 secs to go from 0 to 5,7-5,8kW.

To CC was shipped one modified CC 125 which was working but stopped corresponding with CC Link. Problem was I switched to 3.2 which decrease the power by 25% !!! comparing to 2.16. The other was a faulty ICE 200 L which arrived with some kind of BUG.

hey,
i found some pictures of a flying speedfire in german forum, on this pictures you can see very good the bend of the wing...in my opinion very impressiv...but i donīt know if it is a disadvantage and how far away is the cracking...so have a look on the links for yourself...maybe somebody with more experience than me can comment

i like the wing constructuion with spread tow, theoretically it should be better than the nomal carbon...and so far i know the first commercial available f5b plane with this spread tow carbon.

I flew it last week end at our F5B closing tour and the plane was performing awesome.

On the legs it's retaining the speed and altitude great. The thermal was easy task. 2 rounds I made the 10 mins only from the first burst after the distance.

Pity my ICE 200 L gave up the day before the F5B event. I was flying with a 4kW setup but however I made 42 legs. More practice and more power is needed.

Great job Petr !

hi georgi,

nice to hear that it is performing well.

which fuselage did you use, the normal one with 2 servos or is there allready a version with only one servo and with a slimmer tailboom, the people talking about some posts before?

and is there a showversion in work...i think maybe you are in nearer contact to petr?!
