Petr, if you haven't figured it out already, Joe is the super critical rant man of many things. Super critical may be an understatement. ;-) His goal seems very simple; to have perfect planes and equipement, received to his door free of charge if possible (sponsors anyone?), do 50 legs each round, and be the F5B world champion. And Joe's "always there", so take it with a grain of salt, it goes down easier that way should you be the target of his criticism.
Joe, there's a fine line between "appropriate constructive criticism" and "open public attack". I hope you are aware of the destructive nature of open public attack, that it is usually used as a last resort, and it normally has implications on those whom you wish to work and play with. Georgi, perhaps gapseals are being described with the use of tape. Richard, I can't wait to see the new F5B Backfire. Very exciting to learn that a new manufacturer is offering a plane for this price category. As for the colors, it's got to be Racing Red or Orange. ;-) I suggest you get a "Troy" inspired Tiger theme, or a "Koch" inspired feather design if possible. Yeah Baby!!! Also, will you go HV or F5B style with your drivetrain? |

Eric, I do appriciate new products.
Yes I am very critical and no I am not everywhere. The target is to become world champ F5B and so only products that go with this have my interrest. Some of us don't have the the money to buy everything we want and certainly difficult choices have to be made on what to buy and what not. To do this one needs objective information and facts. The flip side perhaps is that if something pleases me, it is going to be GOOD. On that list is Avionik, Futaba 12FG, Thunder Power, Neu motors and so on. Note Wolf and Norbert are having a fun time getting Rainer (Stratair) to make what they want. I think Petr is doing a very good job! |

Joe,
you get your point, F5B championship are in your goals and you'll filter the things you appriciate and leave the rest. I think Petr didn't make this plane to run in F5B championships otherwise he is in the wrong way, am I wrong Petr? Ps: SpeedFire is a nice plane and I belive it has a good finishing. Very interesting statement... Wing is great. Petr will now produce a "competition fuse" so I don't see a reason why this plane can't be used in WC/EC's. See you in Romania WC |

Because there is no thin competition fuse...yet...
and I just see 80% of the F5B champs airplanes using T tail intead of V tail ( nothing against V tail, actually I like it). Georgi, I would be in Romania just to watch you guys drive these machines, give me 2 years so I can get the money, sorry Guys, I'm not familiar with F5B championship and rules, I just fly for the sport Andre |

Hy,
I use a modified Speedfirewing together with a Avionik B08 fuse. Because i lost last year my B08 only the fuse could be fixed again. Thanks again to Petr for the nice support. It works very well. It hold the speed very well on course. Wing is in very good conditon. Perfect surface and strong. On contest i saw also Petr flying the original Speedfire and the common opinion was that this plane is a very good option for contest flyers and accordingly for hobbyflyers.. @Petr: Sorry that I had no time to be in Bad Brückenau. I got finally too much work on my job Best regards Hubert |
