Placed my order earlier this week, and can expect delivery during the last half of May. The wait is part of the game. Which setup are you planning?

I ordered mine a week or two earlier so guess it's going to be May as well.
Probably go for the Phasor Race 2035/2100 from Petr as well, with ICE 160HV and GM 18x23, but start off on 8S or even a 6S pack till I'm comfortable with it.

What about yourself?

I already have a 2026/3600. I have a P180 and a HK200A, both modified by Joe, and I'm leaning towards the P180 for this project. 17.5x17.5 and 6S seems to be safe enough, so that will be my choice. I guess, for now anyway

Hot and Fun works too with 18x21s

If you take it easy on the throttle on 6S its not bad temp wise.

White with fluro tips is a bit common in F5B but great for visuals as you say.

I take it you're still waiting for the snow to melt!

Photo of the business end of the Speedfire. I've got a couple of 2700mAh 6S batteries on order to ease myself into F5B gently. They should be useful for practicing duration/landings and sport flying later when I step the cell count up.

Took me ages to slice through the carbon with a scapel to make the NACA duct. The motor mount isn't finished, need to open out the holes. I added a couple of layers of carbon cloth to it, looked a little thin to me to hang a 350grm motor+gearbox off.

Very nice toy!

My speedfire uses the stock motor mount, and seems to be holding up fine.. Even with "one lady owner"

Id imagine you can nearly get 2x 2700 6S in there
