Problem solved. Now own toyota, not so fun to drive...

Anyone got a suitably modified P125/P180 for sale? This uber high amp soldering scares me... I like the idea of the ICE 200, but if its not gonna handle the jandal...

At the moment im still planning on the 1509/1D/6.7 on high C 3S~4000-5000mah, with a 16x17 slim. That 17.5x17.5 Neu prop sounds like fun, but 400A sounds quite nutty too me!

Hey Jacko,

Are you using components you allready have, or planning to buy these drivetrain items?

If planning to buy, there are some other options to consider that have shown really good reliability, stock off the shelf stuff, and full on F5B output. Just in case you are still searching around.

BTW The set up you are currently designing will surely be a lot of fun, and potentially very light. Definitely a resonable option.

Good luck,

Eric

Stuff I already have, got most of the bits and peices lying around new (no esc or battery yet)

Its likely the only proper F5B plane in NZ! Aint no one but myself too compete with

Id be going higher voltage if I was gonna power it from scratch.

Need to go put fire on the CC out.. Damn thing just caught light

When no one else wants to play one doesnt have much a choice...

Cant wait, Heather's backfire is a work of art (both on the ground and in air), hopefully the speedfire is at the same level.

Good choice then! And will have a neat sound to boot.

Before I order some packs, can someone check if this will fit? Cheers in advance.

160x44x29.5mm 446g (5000mah 45C 3S hyperions)

Emailed CC about a suggested esc, Steve from CC suggests the ICE200 lite will take the abuse of my oldskool flying arc welder setup. Its also the recommended esc on the neu site for the 1509 (along with the 17.5x17.5)

Is nice! Like the wing and tail a lot, see what you mean about the fuselage being massive. Lots of boogey could fit in there!

One question, does the wing have a tongue for mounting on the LE?

Looks like it has a slot for one, but cant see a tongue in the collection of hardware.

Is there a manual with throws/CG anywhere?

Here are the details on max battery sizes, throws CoG etc on Petr's homepage (sorry, only in German):
http://www.f5b.cz/de/Technische-Daten-2/

The tab contains the links to the other information.

Best
Stephan
