Wanted - Kyosho 1M Seawind RC Sailboat

Looking to buy a Kyosho Seawind 1M. Don't require a Radio, receiver, servos or battery, but there are Ok if they are included. No hull cracks or major damage to hull structure, please. A fixer upper is fine, or excellent condition is fine too.

Contact me via PM or e-mail

Still looking

So far, no one has one to sell. That speaks well of this boat. Some one out there needs some space at home.
Let me know if your are at all interested. Couldn't hurt to talk.
Thanks

The best price on a new one that I have seen is at Ultimate Hobbies in Orange @ 219.00. I thought I'd try the used avenue first but no one is selling. Thank you for your kindness.

Carbon '

If you can find one, They go from a low of $400 to $1000. Depends on how badly someone wants one, and how much the seller knows about the market.

Last year Charles Samaha of Latitude 24 Designs had his personal CFE Seawind listed on E-bay for $1200 or $1400. I don't remember the actual sell price, but it was over a grand. I attached a few pictures of his boat and some other examples of his handy work. As I recall it is $400 to $500 and more depending on what you want.

I personally don't feel there is much if any decernable difference in how the ABS and the CFE boats sail. I wouldn't buy one again, unless it was a very good deal. The hull looks very cool, other than that, the differences are very minor.

If I don't find a nice "previously owned" boat I'll pick up a new. I have all the servos, batteries, radios etc. So the purchase price would be about the sum total out of pocket.

I didn't want to paint the carbon fiber hull, but an ABS hull is a different story. I have a few paint schemes in my mind, thus my interest in a fixer upper.

I posted some pictures of some of Charles' work on another thread, hate to duplicate stuff. I just attached his boat and a couple others.

Enjoy
