C-17 EDF Build log From Ordering to finished Product!

Some of the guys wanted me to start this. Today I just ordered my C-17s EDF from HSW. I should have the planes (Yes I have 2 coming) in about a week and a half or so. I will post when they get here and then as I am building the plane. I also plan on doing some mods to the gear as in the pics the gear does not match the real plane, but I will have to see as it is supposed to have retracts and go from there, Also I plan on giving it the Charleston AFB Markings.I will be having a friend help with the build as I have very limited time off and I have recently hurt my back.

I do just want to mention one more thing. Please keep this thread about the C-17

Stay Tuned!!!

Ok I have my first update today. I spoke with Chuck from HSW and there is a slight delay on getting the C-17, the first production run was to have fixed gear, but they have since added the retracts and they are in the process of perfecting them. the delay is only about a week. so I should have the planes about 5 days later then expected. I feel it is ok as long as I get a great product. we shal see. I have faith in HSW and he has not let me down yet.

Yea I saw the pic and it does look cool. I didn't want to hear it either, but if I have to wait an extra few days to get a quality product then it is worth it. as soon as I get it I will post pics. and I do hope the gear is scale or close to it.

I am waiting to see, that is one of the reasons I ordered them, also becuse I have been working on these planes for the past 15 years. I waited 14 Years for revel to make a plastic model and now I can wait a few more weeks to actually having a flying rc model.
