eCalc: Questions & Answers for propCalc, fanCalc, heliCalc

Hello RC Pilots!

I have been asked by a few Pilots here to start a Q&A thread for the purpose of answering your questions about eCalc and there usage....

If you have any questions by using propCalc, fanCalc or heliCalc I ask you first to contact the Help-Page of the corresponding Calulator (upper right corner). If you do not find the answer I'll try my best to support you. for this I need your exact setup:
- Batteries (incl. dicharge rate)
- ESC
- Motor & Gearing
- Propellertype and -dimensions
- your Elevation

I will not make any suggestions setting-up a specific rc model - sorry.

cheers
Markus Mueller

New Version 5.00

Hi,

the new eCalc Version 5.00 is with immediate effect available.

What's new?
- a new model to extrapolate no-load current at higher voltage resulting in a even more accurate Efficiency.
- Introduction of the Battery Charge State (full, normal, low) for a better comparability with own measurements, as own measurements are mostly done with fully charged batteries resulting in shorterm higher values.
- the most restricting component limit are now shown in the graphics
- graphics problem with Internet Explorer 9 is now solved.

Hi Markus

Very good and serious job
Congratulations
When I will have time, I would like to compare with Scorpion Calc (regarding Scorpion motors, of course)
